720p GH2 on the right, 1080p 7D on the left. Same lens, same f-stop. Crazy as it may sound, the GH2 720p mode is probably downsampled from the 1080p signal, that is why it is vastly improved over the GH1 and even hacked gh1 720p modes. This also means it comes very close or equals the 7D, 5D, t2i and 60d 1080p modes. I know its crazy, but the proof is in the images. Lens is a Nikkor O 35mm f2 at f5.6
